With all of the US manufactured cameras on the market, you might be forgiven for thinking that a British made CCD system has no chance of success! However, with thousands of satisfied customers, we think that our cameras have something special to offer and it's not just a low price.

'Starlight Xpress' is the name adopted by the amateur astronomer Terry Platt for the range of CCD imaging equipment which he has been developing since 1986.

Although the original aim was to make cameras for his own use, the demand for good quality, low cost CCD equipment, has led to the products being launched onto the market world wide and this has proved to be a great success.

The cameras are manufactured and supplied by Starlight Xpress Ltd of Holyport (near Maidenhead), in Berkshire, England, and Michael Hattey of Starlight Xpress will be pleased to answer your enquiries about any of our equipment.
